The staff of Electro-Optic Devices, Inc. has extensive experience and training in the design, prototype and manufacture of state-of-the-art electro-optic instruments for laser rangefinding, remote sensing and proximity sensing. Established in 1993, we specialize in the manufacture of modular components commonly found in electro-optic products, which include laser diode drivers, high-output IR emitters, low-noise optical receivers, wideband opto-electronics, high-resolution time interval chronometers and high-voltage power supplies.
We provide application assistance and custom design consultation for companies engaged in design and/or manufacturing of electro-optic products and subassemblies. Our components are implemented extensively in university research and are commonly found in police laser radar (LIDAR) and well known commercial and consumer products.
All engineering personnel are graduates of Georgia Tech with memberships in such notable organizations as Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu Engineering Honor Societies, Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and The International Society for Optical Engineering (SPIE).
